Demons Souls on the PS3 is an RPG game where your role is to save a village from demons. It all starts with King Allant who is greedy to find more power.

The Nexus was already giving him power, an ice shrine, that gave him power of good souls which turned into power and wealth.

He was unsatisfied with this power and wanted more so he searched for other Ice shrines and mistakenly awoken a bad shrine, unleashing demons upon to his village.

This pure darkness had been defeated years ago and was asleep but now it had been awaken by King Allant and the village was now ruled by darkened souls... demons souls.

The demons entered his village and seeked the souls of men.

Other villages were called upon to help and their champions were sent in to banish the demons but failed, all of them having not returned to their villages.
